PREPUBLICATION SALE OF CIRCUMCISION BOOKLETS
Around March 2004 the circumcision/birth booklets of the Ashkenazi children of
Amsterdam (1697 - 1811) will be available. The main index is by patronymic
(first name of the father of the child) and in addition there are indexes by
first name of the child, surname of the father and surname of the grandfather.
The period involved is 1697 till 1811, but most of the registations are
between 1750 and 1811.
The book contains about 565 pages. The price will be 40 euro, not including
shipping costs. The prepublication price is 30 euro (not including shipping
costs).The prepublication sale will be closed one month after the publication
of the January issue of Misjpoge.
